Having worked for 18 years with some of the largest global publishers, Spiros brings together an in-depth knowledge of what is required to develop and deliver digital solutions in this dynamic landscape.

He believes that in order for publishers to survive they must serve more channels and think differently about how they create products.  He is currently working on creating new technologies and brands that will challenge the way news is presented and the way we think about non-fiction publishing.

In this talk Spiros leads a conversation about digital publishing; examining what has changed and how this affects the publishing industry. He talks about the new business models which are emerging and how these affect designers, typesetters, publishers and writers working within the industry.

Spiros Kotsialos has held senior digital positions at some of the world’s largest publishing companies, including Digital Delivery General Manager at News Limited, Digital and Innovation Director at Harper Collins, as well as roles at Fox Entertainment and Random House.
