Every day Google answers more than one billion questions. The average Australian spends 10 hours in front of a screen – and often has multiple screens on the go at once. In an era where information and imagery are ubiquitous, finding creative inspiration from sources outside the online world is becoming more and more of a challenge.

In this talk Frost* Strategy Director Cat Burgess discusses how mindfulness helps people to tap into their personal reserves of creativity by looking inside themselves. Also covering how mediation impacts on the brain to grow creative capabilities and empathy.

Catriona is a highly skilled strategic thinker with more than 20 years experience in branding, design and communications. She has led major brand revitalisations across a wide range of categories – including consumer, corporate, technology, culture, property, finance, infrastructure and destinations. Her experience spans a diverse client base including Qantas, NRMA Motoring, Westpac, BWS, Sydney Airport, Sydney Opera House, Tourism NT, Macquarie Group and Four Seasons Hotels. This includes multi-brand projects for Australia’s largest banking group and numerous high profile consumer brands.
